Heidi Dugan comes from Australia and has a Bachelor Degree in Acting Arts. Heidi has variously worked as a stage actress, TV Producer, film producer and starred in numerous adverts during her 17-year worldwide media career.

　　Heidi is perhaps most famous as the host of You’re the Chef. The program is broadcast to several continents by satellite on a weekly basis and concentrates on cuisine and entertainment. Heidi is popular with audiences around the world and she has become one of the most well-known foreign hosts.

　　In 2003 Heidi was awarded Best Foreign Host by Dragon TV while You’re the Chef received the Best English Program award.

　　Heidi first became interested in Chinese martial arts at the age of eight years old. She later came to Shanghai to learn martial arts and during that time, met her teacher Zhang Yi who she married. During her pregnancy, Heidi intensively studied traditional Chinese cuisine and exercise. She insisted on exercising to keep fit and healthy and later wrote a book to advise others of her experiences.
