On the afternoon of June 28th, major TV Series"The Journey of Danube"news conference is held at Okura Garden Hotel. Mr. Lin Xiong, Standing Committee of Guangdong provincial commission & Minister of Information, representatives of Guangdong Southern Media Corporation, Guangdong Television, and other organizations attend the conference. Mr. Isticioaia Budura Viorel, Ambassador of Romania to China, Ms.Renata Pindzo ,Vice Minister of Ministry of Serbia Economic and Regional Development, and many Danube River region countries'consulate general in Shanghai, officials from World EXPO Pavilions attend the conference. At the conference, organizer specially played one episode of the Series–"Hudec and Shanghai", revealing Mr. Hudec's unknown legendary life and his emotional connection to Shanghai for half a century, through interviewing his family member, filming his hometown in Hungary and his famous architecture works in Shanghai.

The Series focus on culture meanings and living conditions along the River Danube, and at the same time emphasize on storytelling, knowledge and practicability.“The Journey of Danube”filming crew traveled to 10 countries in the Danube region, filming from water, sky to land, filming large quantities of first hand materials using multiple angles and ways. Over one hundred guests, celebrities, diplomats and experts received our exclusive interviews. The Series includes well-known signature buildings and places, and also secret zones where no man ever set foot on; it has records of famous peoples'lives, and also real portraits of ordinary people; it has great stories, and also detailed follow up.

Meanwhile,"The Journey of Danube"is not only a major TV Series, but also a colorful culture brand. In August 2010, 4 major multi-media theme musical concerts“The Journey of Danube”will be held in Beijing and Guangdong, famous musical groups and art performers from China and countries along Danube will perform together at the same stage, providing a Chinese and Western combined, elegant and exquisite, unique and special musical feast. In addition, China and ten countries along Danube culture summit forum will be held in Beijing,"The Journey of Danube"TV series will be broadcast in both Europe and North America later this year.

Major TV Series"The Journey of Danube"is co-produced by Guangdong Foreign Culture Communication Association, Guangdong Southern Media Corporation, Guangdong Television, Radio Guangdong, Dongguan Broadcast Station, Suzhou Chengyuan Culture Communication CO., LTD and Beijing Yitai Media CO., LTD. It took 3 years to produce, totally 80 episodes, each episode is 25 minutes. After the broadcast of"The Journey of Danube"on Guangdong Satellite Channel and other 4 TV channels on May 24th this year, from June 27th, English version of the Series was broadcast on ICS channel at 21:30 everyday.
