Chen Xuan joined ICS at the end of 2007. As a news editor and reporter, she specialized in reports on the World Expo. Her stories recorded the growth of the Expo Park, from contract signings and ground breading ceremonies, to the completion of venues. She also reported on other important events including British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown’s visit to Shanghai, the Expo 100-day countdown in Beijing, the total solar eclipse and Shanghai International Film Festival.
In 2009, she became the youngest news anchor on ICS, hosting ICS News at 9pm, and a financial news section of Shanghai Noon. With two co-hosts, Chen Xuan successfully presented the channel's first New Year countdown show on December 31, 2009. The three-hour program was the very first live countdown show in Shanghai in English.
Chen Xuan graduated from the University of Nottingham in Britain in
International Economics, in 2006. She then completed an Associate MBA in
International Management at Royal Holloway, University of London.
