The 2014 Shanghai Summer Solstice Music Festival, the city's largest free music celebration is going to be held from June 21 to 22 this year. Band IAM and Deluxe from France will put on a feast of music on the opening day in Jing'an 800 Show creative park.
Found in 1982 in Paris, the Summer Solstice Music Festival has become a household cultural event in France. Each year in June 21st which is the summer solstice day, streets and lanes everywhere is crowded with people and music. In 2010, the festival arrived in Shanghai.
