Built in 1926, the British style garden residence was designed by Robert Fan, the well-known architect in modern China.

 

The building was once the residence of H. H. Kung, the former head of Administrative Council and Finance Minister of KMT Government and also a wealthy businessman. Then it housed the Shanghai Film Dubbing Studio. Now it is used by the city's general squad of cultural market law enforcement team.

 

In 1999 the house was listed as the Shanghai Heritage Architecture.

 

孔祥熙旧居,位于永嘉路383号,始建于1926年,由中国近代著名建筑师范文照设计,为英国花园建筑。大楼曾为上海电影译制片厂使用,现为市文化市场行政执法总队。1999年其被列为上海市优秀历史建筑。
