There are several temples located on the slope of the Jin Mountain; among these Jinshan Temple was the most famous one, which has a history of more than 1,600 years.

　　There is a legend about this temple: a white snake turned into a girl and married a young scholar named Xu Xian. A monk, Fa Hai, tried again and again to undermine their marriage. Out of indignation, the white snake summoned a deluge and flooded Jinshan Temple.
