The Big Shaolin Kungfu drama“Huiguang”is a large-scale dance drama which tells you a whole story by kungfu performance, it shows a variety of boxing, war instrument, inner-power and fighting routines in a new-brand art style. Since its creation and rehearsal in 2006, it has been performed for nearly 200 times at home and abroad, 3 times in Europe and 150 times in America.

This drama is invested by Shanghai Eastern lmage Art Gallery Culture Co., Ltd, with invited Shanghai playwright, stage art, lighting, and costume, with complex thinking ways of dramas, dance dramas and operas. It tells a growth story of Huiguang, a monk in shaolin temple, offering a true, complete and graceful performance of Shaolin Kungfu.

A mother is separated from her baby by bandits in refuge; the baby was saved by shaolin monks, taught shaolin kungfu and renamed Huiguang. Day in day out ,brought up by Naluo and taught kungfu, Huiguang grew up to be a young man with good kungfu. Someday, on mediating a struggle in town, Huiguang picked up the other half of jade that he had, and finally had a glimpse of his mum….
