The ongoing exhibition titled "Metaphors of Un/Real -- Animamix Biennial" is a major tribute to the rapid development of the global animamix industry, a recent portmanteaux of animation and comics. The show has attracted over 100 artists from 20 countries to display their striking artworks in diverse forms including painting, sculpture, photography, installation, video and audio. After its debut in Shanghai in 2007, the second animamix biennial is now expanding to another three cities, including Beijing, Taipei and Guangzhou.
