The show is part of MoCA's Animax Biennale III. It features a 12-meter-long digital video screen, installations, sketches and figures from movies such as "Finding Nemo," "Monsters," "Up," "Toy Stories 1, 2 and 3" and "Cars."

The exhibition will have three sections, "Story," "Character" and "World" - one on each floor.

Figures and models used in production and also commercial by products will be exhibited. The exhibit could be informative for Chinese film makers who rely almost exclusive on ticket sales for profit and are trying to develop better marketing and spin-offs. Fear of piracy has kept many film producers from pre-release promotions and sales.

The digital video installation, plus lights and sounds, takes visitors into the Pixar animation world.

Pixar's creative director and president of the Pixar school will take part in seminars on the successful combination of art and marketing.
