The highly-anticipated sequel to the 2010 animated adventure film which globally grossed around US$500 million will be released in the Chinese mainland on August 14. The sequel is about the growth of Hiccup who is now a 20-year-old young adult. Though he is set to succeed his father as chief of Berk, Hiccup feels so confused about his future. Together with his dragon Toothless, he fi ghts against a dragon hunter and protects his land. The war changes him and helps him fi nd the meaning and responsibility in life. The movie includes more stunning state-of-the-art animation to depict the adventure and war. Movie buffs in the city are also presented 3D and IMAX 3D version.
