Wei Jing Ge is the first contemporary Chinese restaurant of Waldorf Astoria. On the 5th floor of Waldorf Astoria Club on the Bund, a century-old landmark heritage structure, one seems to have stumbled into a splendid attic. The restaurant, in addition to the main dining area, features 6 private rooms, individually furnished and named after Chinese dynasties. The creative chef of Wei Jing Ge has introduced the novel style and idea into Shanghainese and Cantonese cuisines, and once prepared banquets for heads of state and political celebrities on number of occasions.
