  Activities:

  September 6–Discussed Chinese educational issues with Shen Enfu and Huang Yanpei at Shanghai Business College (the present Shanghai University of Finance & Economics) and took a tour of Wusong

  September 7–In the morning continued to discuss Chinese educational issues with Enfu Shen and Yanpei Huang at Jiangsu Education Society; in the afternoon delivered a speech on Nationalism Education and Civilism Education and paid a visit to China Vocational School (the present No.16, 303 Dapu Road) and Public Gymnasium (the present Shanghai South Sports Center on 515 Fangxie Road)

  September 8–Attended the welcome banquet organized by Jiangsu Educational Society, Jiaotong University, Fudan University and Tongji School and other 15 societies; delivered a speech on the Relationship between Education and Industry; visited Shanghai Newspaper Office.
