TYPHOON Chan-Hom is expected to land somewhere between Sanmen and Zhoushan in east China's Zhejiang Province on Saturday afternoon, the National Meteorological Center (NMC) forecast. At 5am, Chan-Hom was about 185 kilometers away from Xiangshan County in Ningbo, with the wind speed at the center up to 52 meters per second. It is moving northwestward at a speed up to 20 kilometers per hour and will bring heavy rain to Zhejiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Anhui, Fujian, and Taiwan. (Eastday/Jiang Wenran)
