2015年8月18日，天津“8·12”爆炸事故后，18日上午首次降雨，记者在雨中观察到路面出现大量异常的白色泡沫。记者随即出现不同症状的反应：面部嘴唇处有灼烧感；胳膊处感觉“辣辣的”；左手关节处热痒。
