DPRK’s new website launched to attract foreign tourists
DPRKTODAY.COM, a new website was launched by North Korean government on Dec. 1, 2014, to attract foreign tourists. According to a recent news report from Yonhap News Agency, the new website will provide useful information on domestic scenic spots, hotels and recreational facilities. Details of fights to North Korea are also provided as well as related travel agencies.

Professionals from North Korea travel industry said that the country has built dozens of international-level facilities of cultural tourism such as Masik Ski Field, Wenxiu Water Park, Meilin Riding Club since 2013. The DPRK also decide to build an international tourism zone in national scenic spot of Wonsan and Kumgang Mountain in June last year. (Eastday/Jiang Wenran)
