Comfort women in the ruins of war (3)
A house in De’an Village, Malin Town is the only historical site confirmed to be the place to keep comfort women by the Japanese in Guangxi. In the winter of 1944, Wei, at the age of 20, was captured by the Japanese and brought to an unfamiliar place. She was confined in a narrow clay house, where she was devastated for three months. For 70 years, the nightmare-like memory has stricken her from day to day.
