Korean Central Television (KCTV) disclosed series of photos showing top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong Un standing on the top of Changbai Mountain in a documentary broadcasted on December 17, 2014. The documentary which was shot in the end of November, according to Korean media, premiered on the third anniversary of North Korea's late leader Kim Jong-Il’s death.
Yonhap News Agency analyzed that the DPRK conducted vigorous propaganda of Kim Jong Un’s arrival at the summit of Changbai Mountain and regarded this action as a conclusion of 3 years after Kim Jong-Il’s death and a start of Kim Jong Un’s new era. (Eastday/Jiang Wenran)
