"I broke the law and should be punished. When I return to the society, I vow not to break the lawagain, because if I do, I will add another layer of disappointment to my family and friends. I will getthe punishment I deserve, but it doesn't mean that I will be forgiven. I hope to achieve that throughmy actions in the future," Chan said at the court.
