A large piece of pink-colored flower sea is pictured recently in the suburban Shanghai's Jinshan District. It is light and graceful like cotton candy against the background of white walls and red tiles in the golden autumn.
With the latin name as Muhlenbergia capillaries, the plant is a new favorite of city landscape with the florescence from September through November. This pink field in Jinshan is considered as the largest one in China with the planting area of 28 acres.
