People were lightly dress yesterday (Jan 5, 2015) when the high temperature rose to 19 degrees Celsius.

昨天申城阳光明媚，最高温接近19度，晒得路人出汗，有的人甚至穿起了“短打”。

Shanghai, Jan 6 - These days the city's mercury has been fluctuating wildly as if riding a roller coaster. It was sunny and warm yesterday, Jan 5, 2015 with the high temperature of almost 19 degrees Celsius, when passengers even wore short sleeved dress. However, the mercury dropped sharply to 9 degrees today as the cold front and the long-awaited rainfall hit the city.

Today is also Xiao Han or Slight Cold in the 24 Solar Terms. The temperature will continue to plunge in the night. Some areas are expected to see sleet or slight snow.  

上海这两天的气温犹 如坐上了过山车。昨天申城阳光明媚温暖，最高接近19度的气温让路人甚至脱下了厚重的外套露出了“短打”。而今晨(6日)强冷空气袭来，上海的气温直接 “腰斩”，由昨天的最高18.6℃直线下滑至9℃，同时还迎来久违的降水。今天是二十四节气中的“小寒”，今天夜间随着气温进一步下降，或将出现小雨夹 雪，局部地区可能有小雪。
