Soccer fans hung a giant photo of Xu Genbao to salute to the Chinese well-known coach who made great contributions to Shanghai and Chinese football career at the court of the 29th round of the Chinese Super League in Shanghai on Oct 26, 2014.

Xu-led Shanghai SIPG football team beat Jiangsu Sainty 3-0, which was the closing match of this 70-year-old coach.

After this season, Xu Genbao will quit the team and club, and continue to engage in the training of youth players in Shanghai Chongming Island.

2014年10月26日，本赛季中超联赛倒数第二轮，徐根宝率领的上港集团队在主场迎战江苏舜天。比赛中球迷在赛场挂起了徐根宝的巨幅画像。
