Pastry chef Fan Lifeng is cooking fried beef dumplings, the best-known snack of Yi-Xin-Zhai. Fan tells the reporter that at least 70 pots (50 dumplings in one pot) are served every day and diners need to line up for the dumplings from morning till night.

点心技师范利凤正在烹制一心斋最出名的点心“牛肉煎包”。范阿姨在一心斋制作煎包已有4年。她告诉东方网记者,牛肉煎包最受食客追捧,一天至少要做70锅,每锅50个,每天从早到晚都要排队购买。老食客都说,这里的水煎包几十年味道不变。
