Cross stitch embroidery pendants, cards and cell phone bags

Expo-themed arts exhibition and performances by prisoners are held in Qingpu Prison on March 12, 2010, celebrating the 50-day countdown to Shanghai World Expo 2010. 55 foreign prisoners from 32 countries, along with Chinese inmates have taken part in designing and making art works such as cross stitch embroideries, paper models and Chinese calligraphies and paintings.

Shanghai Qingpu Prison is the home of almost 120 foreign prisoners from 37 countries.
