China took two more gold medals through Yang Jinghui and Guo Jingjing on the final day of the four-day Canada Cup FINA Grand Prix diving meet here on Sunday.
Guo Jingjing beat a strong challenge from Canadian Blythe Hartley to take the women's 3-meter springboard title with a totalof 381.75points.Hartley was second at 362.40, followed by Russia veteran Vera Ilyina in the third place at 354.33. Another Chinese diver Wu Minxia finished a disappointing fourth with 348.12 points.
The men's 10-meter platform title was taken by Yang Jinghui who collected a winning total of 570.42 points.
Yang,a synchronized diving specialist who is making his debut in individual event here,proved he was also a force to be reckoned with in the 10m platform.He kept his nerve after his teammate and star diver Tian Liang had pulled out of the final with an injury sustained in the training.
The silver medal went to Leon Taylor of Britain who scored 517.56 points.Mathew Helm of Australia finished third at 471.60.
