President of the International Soccer Federation (FIFA), Swiss Joseph Blatter, will arrive in Peru next Thursday to attend the final of Copa America 2004.

This announcement was made by president of the Peruvian Soccer Federation (FPF) Manuel Burga, after indicating that Blatter will also be present next Saturday, July 24 at Garcilaso de la Vega Stadium, in Cusco, to see the match for the third place.

Meanwhile, Blatter will visit the Children Villages of the United Nations Infancy Fund (UNICEF) at the Archaeological Capital of America.

The final of the 56th edition of Copa America will take effect at Lima's National Stadium, on Sunday, July 25, where a closing ceremony will be staged.

Blatter currently is in China where the Asian Cup has just been opened.
