Soccer star Ronaldo and the physical therapist who helped him recover from the knee injuries opened a school of physiotherapy and a rehabilitation center at a Rio de Janeiro university. The two units, a joint venture with the Estacio de Sa University, form the R9 Campus - R for Ronaldo, 9 for the number on his national team jersey. R9 will offer undergraduate courses in physiotherapy, while the rehabilitation center will be open to the public, namely the poor. "Any social program that helps the poor is very important," Ronaldo said. "We would like to see other sectors of society, like businessmen, help the poor as much as they can."
