The Luwan District People's Court has sentenced two drug dealers, Mo Yuanfei and Yang Deqin, to 15 years and six months in prison, respectively, for trafficking narcotics from January to April. During the period, they sold 477 grams of heroin and 6.9 grams of ecstasy, court officials said. Meanwhile, Ding Guangming was sentenced to a one-year jail term and fined 1,000 yuan (US$120) for illegally accommodating drug addicts at his home. From September last year to January, Ding took in 19 people who injected heroin in his apartment.
