Death toll rises to 191in gas field explosion

The death toll from an explosionTuesday at a natural gas field in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality rose to 191by 6:40p.m.Thursday,according to local government sources.

The tragedy took place at 10:00p.m.Tuesday at Chuandongbei gas field in Kaixian County,when a well burst suddenly and released a high concentration of natural gas and sulfurated hydrogen.Enditem
