Chinese State Councilor Hua Jianmin Saturday extended congratulations for the successful gas cap operation in Kaixian of southwest China's Chongqing.The gas field blowout that occurred on Tuesday has killed 191people.

The air prevention pipe has been closed at 9:28am Saturday and the mud instilling that started at 9:36am is expected to continue for two hours in an effort to prevent the blowout at the gas fieldin Kaixian County.

Ten crucial minutes later after cap operation started,the air pressure at the mouth of the gas well began to decrease,which indicates the operation successful.
