Deputy Foreign Minister Lee Su-hyuckwill head South Korea's delegation to the second round of six-nation talks aimed at resolving the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)nuclear issue,announced South Korean Foreign Ministry on Friday.
Lee,a career diplomat,also headed the South Korean delegationto the first round six-nation talks in Beijing in August last year,which ended without a clear breakthrough.Cho Tae-yong,head of the task force that deals exclusively with the DPRK nuclear issue,will serve as the deputy chief delegate to the upcoming talks that will include China,the DPRK,the United States,Russia,South Korea and Japan,South Korean Yonhap News agency quoted the ministry as saying.
The new round six-way nuclear talks will be kicked off on Feb.25in Beijing.
