The six-party talks on the nuclear issue of the Korean Peninsula started its third-day discussion in Chinese capital Beijing Friday morning.

Chief negotiators and vice-heads of delegations from China, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), the United States, the Republic of Korea (ROK), Russia and Japan, will have consultations respectively after the plenary session, Chinese official with the press office said.

The duration of the on-going second round talks has not been fixed so far.
