An upcoming Arab summit will cover economic and social issues, Arab League (AL) chief Amr Moussa said in Tunis on Saturday.

"Arab leaders are expected to come up with a comprehensive vision on political, economic and social issues in the Arab world," Moussa told a joint press conference with Tunisian Foreign Minister Al-Habib bin Yahia.

For his part, bin Yahia said, "We have a strategy for a common Arab action on social, economic and political issues."

Arab foreign ministers are gathering here to prepare for an Arab summit due on March 29-30, which will focus on the Palestinian- Israeli conflict, post-war Iraq and the reform of the Arab League.
