Arab collective security on Tunis summit agenda: Moussa 27/3/2004

The Arab collective security issue was on the agenda of Tunis summit, due to be held in Tunis on March 29- 30, Arab League (AL) chief Amr Moussa told Xinhua here Saturday.

Moussa made the remarks in a reply to a question by Xinhua correspondent on the role of the Arab League in defending Arab countries and maintaining Arab collective security in light of violence in the occupied Palestinian territories and occupation of Iraq.

Moussa said the question is multi-faced and cannot be answered in a short term because it deals with the situation in the war- battered Iraq and the Palestinian issue.

"The two issues will be on the agenda of the Tunis summit and Arab leaders will discuss them in details over two days," he stressed.
