Hamas leader Abdel Aziz Rantisi died Saturday from his wounds after Israel blew up his car in Gaza City, Palestinian medical sources said.

Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians chanting "Revenge! Revenge!" flooded Gaza's streets Monday to bury Hamas founder Sheik Ahmed Yassin, who was assassinated by an Israeli missile.

Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat called on Monday for an emergency meeting of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) to discuss the Israeli assassination of Ahmed Yassin, founder and spiritual leader of the Islamic resistance movement Hamas. -Xinhua/AFP
