Shanghai's building industry witnessed a total output of 25.19 billion yuan (US$3.03 billion) in added value last year, up 6.4 percent.

The statistics came from a latest report from Shanghai Municipal Statistical Bureau.

The report said the city's construction enterprises completed projects with a total value of 81.02 billion yuan, up 10.9 percent from the previous year.
