Specimen of legendary elephant in Taipei

Specimen master Lin Wen-lung poses with the specimen of Grandpa Lin Wang, an legendary elephant, in Taipei Zoo, Taipei, southeast China's Taiwan, Oct. 19, 2011. Lin Wang is a famous elephant that served with the Chinese expeditionary forces that fought for peace in Myanmar and India during World War Two. Local people in Taipei affectionately called it "Grandpa Lin Wang". Lin Wang passed away in 2003 at the age of 86 and in 2004, Lin Wang was immortalized by Lin Wen-lung in a life-size specimen in Taipei Zoo. (Xinhua)
