Shanghai Gongqing Forest Park launched five kindsof tree species for social adoption this year(cherry blossom, peach blossom, crabappleand 2 kindsof cedar). This scheme replacesthe offline adoption model.

The online adoption is unified by the Shanghai Gongqing Forest Park. Citizens can adopt trees conveniently, and receive a commemorative electronic adoption certificate. It also introduced some camphor trees for adoption by enterprises and institutions. For those wishing to adopt a tree registration starts on March 12 and ends on March 31.

In addition, on March 13th, Shanghai Gongqing Forest Park will host a free greening and conservation experience event for families.
