Recently, Volvo Cars and Didi Chuxing's autonomous driving company signed a strategic cooperation agreement, forthe two parties to work togetheron anautonomous driving test fleet. Based on the signed agreement, Volvo Cars expects to establish a long-term partnership with Didi Autonomous Driving. Didi will continue to expand its autonomous driving test fleet in China and the United States.

Volvo XC90 is the first model to integrate Didi Gemini's new hardware platform for autonomous driving. It will be used in Didi's autonomous driving road tests in the future.

The Volvo XC90 has built-in redundancy systems and safety functions, and combined with the advanced hardware platform and software system developed by Didi Autonomous Driving, the vehicle can carry out autonomous driving.

In 2020, Volvo Cars has provided Didi with the Volvo XC60 for use in Shanghai's first large-scale passenger-carrying demonstration of intelligent networked vehicles. Passengers can make an appointment through the "Future Travel" entrance in the "Didi Travel" applicationin specific areas of Shanghai, and take the lead in experiencing autonomous driving travel services accompanied by safety officers and engineers.
