The 10th China Flower Expo will open in Chongming in May. In order to show the effect of blooming flowers in the garden, many non-seasoning flowers will be brought to bloom through the application of florescence regulation technology.

As a famous flower in China, lotus flowers generally begin to open at the end of June. In order to be exhibited at their best at the Flower Expo, the Flower Group has once again established a dedicated scientific research team to summarize the techniques for regulating the lotus blooming period as used in the 2010 World Expo. The team independently cultivated and selected more than 30 early-flowering and florid-flowering varieties to achieve precise control of the flowering period.
