The 28th National Book Expo,the country's largest yearly book fair is being held from July 19 to 22 in Shenzhen, south China’s Guangdong province. 60 representatives of the Shanghai press and publication industry are taking part in the expo, presenting nearly 6,000 kinds of books to showcase Shanghai’s publication culture.

With 81 booths at this book fair, the Shanghai exhibition group is takingthe lead among all provincial exhibitors. The Shanghai exhibition area is designed with the unique style of shikumen, a unique architectural style of Shanghai, which combines Western building style with China’s courtyard structures. In addition, in line with the change to a sales-focused and selling-exhibition combined mode of this book fair, the layout of the Shanghai exhibition area is optimized to increase the interaction between readers and books.

The books presented by the Shanghai team covers various fields including social science, art, technology and education, and are all excellent publications, among which are the most internationally influential English academic journals like Cell Research, and Sport and Health Science.

During the book expo, the Shanghai exhibitors will also hold 20 new book launches, literary exchanges, reading promotions,and book signings.
