MINSK, July 9 (Xinhua) -- Belarusian Deputy Prime MinisterAnatoly Kalinin on Monday emphasized good progress in theChina-Belarus industrial park Great Stone.

On behalf of the Belarusian government, Kalinin expressedsatisfaction with the development of the industrial park during hisvisit.

"The park will be one of the factors promoting our country'seconomic development in the next five-year term," the deputy primeminister said.

"It is the most important decoration of the Silk Road, a pearlon the Silk Road Economic Belt," he added.

Kalinin pointed out that the establishment of infrastructure inthe park provided necessary conditions for enterprises to enter thepark.

Another important thing for the development of the industrialpark is the fact that visa-free travel between Belarus and Chinawill take effect soon, he said.

"The good transport service between Minsk and the industrialpark is available. A high-speed railway will be built here in thefuture. It is also planned to build a highway for connecting thecapital city, the industrial park and the Minsk National Airport,"he said.

By the end of the year, about 10 resident companies will startproduction in the park and about 700 people will start working, headded.

The official also said that the first residential house is beingbuilt, and that a clinic is planned to be built in the park in thenear future. Enditem
