A Mid-Autumn Festival gathering for contemporary Chinese porcelain appreciation was held in Wuchangshuo Garden Shanghai, September 15, 2016, attended by nearly 50 people from 12 countries, that is, Bulgaria, Chile, China, France, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Serbia, Russia and Zimbabwe.
Chen Haibo who is Cultural Ambassador and also an expert on porcelain appraisal was invited as a guest speaker.
2016 marks the 60 anniversary of the establishment of Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. The event is co-organized by the association, Shanghai Pudong International Exchange Center and Shanghai Wuchangshuo Garden, aimed at connecting friends with porcelain and promoting Chinese and foreign exchanges.
Chinese and foreign viewers appreciated a number of contemporary Chinese porcelain art works under the guidance of Chen Haibo.
The three sets of tableware used in the state banquet of G20 in Hangzhou lately drew the most attention.
In addition to explaining the history and development of Chinese porcelain, Chen Haibo also introduced a series of international exchanges on contemporary Chinese porcelain with the theme of "new china".
