ULAN BATOR, May 26 (Xinhua) -- China's Inner Mongolian Autonomous region on Friday signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Mongolia to enhance cultural ties.
During the signing ceremony, the Chinese side also donated 56,000 children's books, with a total worth of 1 million RMB (145,800 U.S. dollars), to public libraries and schools in the landlocked country.
Speaking at the event, Mongolian Education Minister Jamiyansuren Batsuuri expressed his gratitude to China for continuously supporting Mongolia's cultural and education sectors.
