BEIJING, July 7 (Xinhua) -- The National Art Museum of China (NAMOC) and the National Museum of Australia (NMA) have signed a letter of intent for cooperation over the next five years.
The two sides agreed to exchange classic collections for exhibition, and arrange regular personnel exchanges for exhibition curation, restoration, publicity and public education.
"The people of China and Australia can deepen their understanding of each other and promote friendship through the cooperation and exchanges between the two museums," said Wu Weishan, curator of NAMOC.
Matheu Trinca, director of the NMA, said the letter of intent would further develop relations between the two museums.
