The first Villagers' Sports Meet was held in Jiangqiao Town's Taiping Village recently. More than 200 farmers aged from 16 to 70, as well as migrant workers, participated in basketball, table tennis, skipping, gateball, tai chi and tug of war, among others. Many participants said that they were excited by the event and looked forward to future meets.
