Hangzhou tourney

The 2004 Table Tennis World Cup will be held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, from October 27-31. The five-day tournament includes competitions for men's and women's players in singles, doubles and mixed doubles, China Radio International reported. Thirty-two table tennis players, including world No. 1 women's player Zhang Yining, Swedish veteran Jan-Ove Waldner, and Athens Olympic champion Rye Seung-min of South Korea will compete for the world title. It is the first time the men's and women's tournament will be held in the same city.
