A city education center was ordered yesterday to pay 40,000 yuan (US$5,857) in compensation to a Beijing-based English training center for infringing the Li Yang Crazy English trademark.

The Huangpu District People's Court also ruled that the Shanghai Huangpu Lingjuli Education Center should place a statement on its Website that it hasn't been authorized to use the Li Yang Crazy English brand.
