The Shanghai Education Commission issued a notice yesterday, asking all schools and kindergartens to pay special attention to the prevention of chickenpox, Shanghai Daily reported.

The notice came after an outbreak of the virus was discovered at several local schools, which has affected regular classes, according to the education commission.
