An insurance company was ordered yesterday to pay a real estate loan for a South Korean policy holder who died shortly after buying the policy.

The Jing'an District People's Court ruled Hua'an Property Insurance Co's Shanghai branch should pay more than 870,000 yuan (US$126,404) to the Bank of China Changning sub-branch and 8,837 yuan to the family of the dead policy holder.
