Shanghai No. 10 People's Hospital spent more than a month treating a 16-year-old boy who drunk about 40 milliliters of a highly toxic herbicide. The patient has now recovered.

This is China's first case of anyone making a full recovery from severe Paraquat poisoning. Paraquat is the trade name of one of the world's most widely used herbicides.
